I hope you are all well and not slipping too far into a January slump.
I have been feeling really ill this week so I haven’t felt up for taking photographs so I was looking for an idea of something to share with you all this week. On my TimeHop yesterday my first ever profile photo on Facebook came up and it is now 10 years old so I found a tag that asks you questions about yourself 10 years ago, 5 years ago and currently and I thought I would do that today! I’m answering it from the point of January in the respective years as opposed to the year in general. It also means you guys gets to see some nice old photos of me – bring on the poor quality photos!

How old were you?
I was 19. Still a teenager. How insane is that?
Where did you go to school?
I was actually still going to college in Kent – finally getting my A levels!
Where did you work?
I wasn’t working at this time.
Where did you live?
I was living with my parents in Kent.
Where did you hang out?
I think I spent a lot of time at college and in Horsham. Probably also too much time spent at Bluewater!
How was your hairstyle?
As per the above picture! Blonde highlights, layered, fairly long and with my signature side fringe.
Did you wear braces?
No. Not the tooth or trouser kind.
Did you wear glasses?
Very rarely – I’ve worn contact lenses since I was about 15 but I still wore glasses in the morning and evening.
Who was your best friend?
Glenn.
Who was your boyfriend/girlfriend?
Julian.
Who was your celebrity crush?
I genuinely can’t remember. Who was cool in 2007?
Did you have more guy friends or girl friends?
Er.. I think it was probably slightly shifted more towards guys because I have a few hobbies that were considered more masculine like video gaming. But I think overall the split was probably fairly even.
Who was your regular-person crush?
Julian.
How many piercings did you have?
I’m trying to work this one out. I think I may have had my eyebrow done at this point. Maybe around 20? I am not sure when I got all my ear piercings done!
How many tattoos did you have?
None.
Who were your favourite bands?
Paramore. This was the year of the Riot Album. I remember it well!
What was your biggest fear?
I think it was failure.
What was your favourite colour?
Blue.
Had you smoked a cigarette yet?
Nope.
Had you gotten drunk yet?
I don’t think so if I am honest. I wasn’t really big into drinking until I was a bit older!
Had you driven yet?
Yes I think so!

Where did you go to school?
I was close to graduating Plymouth University.
Where did you work?
I wasn’t working at this point. This makes me look so lazy!
Where did you live?
I was still living down in Plymouth at university.
Where did you hang out?
The living room in our PJs! And all the usual student bars in Plymouth.
How was your hair style?
Longish, still layered with my signature side fringe but it was bleached blonde on top with black underneath.
Did you wear braces?
Nope.
Did you wear glasses?
I was still hardly wearing my glasses, only in evenings and mornings before and after contact lenses.
Who was your best friend?
Glenn and Fairuza.
Who was your boyfriend/girlfriend?
Si!
Who was your celebrity crush?
I’m trying to think if I had moved onto Karl Urban at this point…
Did you have more guy friends or girl friends?
Again I think probably fairly even.

I think 27.

None.

Still Paramore and Simple Plan.

Failing university.

Blue.

Nope.

Yes. In this time I had experienced my first being sick from too much alcohol!

Yes but still not got a full licence!
Today
How old are you?
I am now 29.
Where do you go to school?
No more learning for me – I am a proper adult now!
Where do you work?
I work in Camberley for a company I really enjoy!
Where do you live?
I live with my in laws and husband in Farnborough in Hampshire. Not the Farnborough in Kent.
Where do you hang out?
Mostly in various food establishments and museums! I told you I was a proper adult now.
How is your hair style?
A line bob in a dark red colour but still with my signature side fringe!
Do you wear braces?
Nope. I probably should now to get my teeth re-aligned.
Do you wear glasses?
I am still mostly a contact lens wearer but I am now more happy to wear my glasses out and about in public.
Who is your best friend?
Glenn, Fairuza and Hannah.
Who is your boyfriend/girlfriend?
I don’t have a boyfriend any more… I have a husband! Which is Si.
Who is your celebrity crush?
Benedict Cumberbatch and Chris Pratt.
Do you have more guy friends or girl friends?
I still think it’s pretty even!

Si. Always.

28. I know this for sure.
How many tattoos do you have?
None. But maybe I will get one before I turn 30.

I guess being alone.

Blue.

Nope.
Have you gotten drunk yet?
Yes. I had a 4 day hangover from the work Christmas party.

I have but I still don’t have my full licence!
